Southern Serenade for #tttc030

Today I played along with the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #030.  Make sure to head over and play along!  For this challenge, the board was created by Design Team Member Nicole Watt.  Take some inspiration from the challenge board below, using three elements in a row of your choice. Whatever row inspires you is what you are challenged to create!
I chose the trio across the top of the board using Vintage, Pearls and Floral! I was just waiting to find a reason to ink up the Southern Serenade stamp set and this was perfect.  What doesn't say vintage to you about the Southern Serenade Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!?
I used some of the Powder Pink Fresh Florals Design Series Paper as a background piece.  I stamped the lace in basic gray on scratch paper and then stamped it onto the Powder Pink background piece for that added vintage look.
I used the Pink Pirouette Stampin' Blends marker to color the three pearls before I attached them to the sentiment.  It only took a few seconds and they were dry.  The sentiment is punched out using the Pretty Label Punch.  I also punched out two basic gray pieces and layered them behind for that added depth to the sentiment.
I love how the shimmer ribbon looks on this card.  The picture does not do justice to how pretty this ribbon combo pack is.  And it is FREE as a Sale-A-Bration item choice with your $50 order!!!  Thanks for stopping by today.  Here are the Stampin' Up! products I used for today's project...

Perennial Birthday for #GDP120

Today I played along with the Global Design Project Challenge #GDP120. This week we are CASEing a gorgeous project by the super-talented Canadian stamper Krista Frattin.  Remember that when you CASE a project you can take what you like from the design and make it your own. It might be the stamp set - the colors, the layout, the theme, the images - whatever you like that has inspired you to make a card of your own. Here is the project this week that you can CASE:
I decided to use the Perennial Birthday Project Kit and make a bunch of birthday cards to follow along with the celebrate theme of the Krista's card.  This kit is so much fun and comes together in a snap!

The sentiments come from the coordinating Perennial Birthday Stamp Set.  This stamp set is so versatile, you can use it with the kit or to create your own projects.  Check out all the details in this video:

And during Sale-A-Bration for every $50 you spend at my store, you get to choose a free item during check out.  This is a great time of year to stock up and get some goodies on the side!

Pals January Blog Hop

Welcome to the Pals January 2018 Blog Hop. Our theme this month is “From the Heart” featuring heartfelt projects like Valentine’s Day, Thinking of You, Get Well and Sympathy. Whether you’re just starting the hop, or have come from a previous Pal’s blog, you’ll find the line-up toward the end of my post to help you move along.
For today's blog hop I made a fun fold Valentine's Day card using some scrumptious Design Paper from Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog called Painted With Love.  I cut the gate fold just so that the largest heart tucks into the medium heart so this card can stand up on it's own.  Here is a little peak at how it looks when it opens up.

I used the Sweet & Sassy Framelits dies to cut out all the hearts.  The inside heart is from the Sweet Soiree Memories & More Card Pack.  This is such a beautiful card pack that you can use to make cards or scrapbook.
Here are the card base dimensions so you can make your very own fun fold gate card.
  • Cut a 8-1/2 by 11 inch card stock in half at 4-1/4 by 5-1/2
  • Score at 2-3/4 on each end of the card stock
  • Cut each scored end at 2-1/4 until the fold seam (see picture below)
  • Cut the left scored bottom notch out at the seam(see picture below)

Thank you so much for hopping with the Stampin’ Pretty Pals today. Please take a minute to mark your calendar for our next hop on February 14, 2018. Now hop along using the Blog Hop Line-up below. Don’t forget to leave us a comment. We really like that.
